Cucina delle Agridee is about 40 km from the Milan Airports (Malpensa, Linate, Orio Al Serio) and only 5 km from the Swiss border. One step away from Como and its great Lake it’s ideal for Families or professionals who look for simple yet cared contest.
We have two big rooms which can host up to 8 persons (different solutions of queen size or single beds). One room (which is actually an indipendent 2 floors cottage) is accessible to wheelchair (ground floor) .
Parking is free for guests. All rooms are smoking free; PETs are not allowed.
Taste our special jams and seasonal fruits for breakfast…and be ready for some “jummy cake” from Paola!
There’s an outdoor playground and the always fun “table football”.

Cucina delle Agridee is based in Tavernerio, which is part of the mountain district “Triangolo Lariano”, just few minutes away from Como downtown and the Lake. Easy hiking (but also the funicolar train from Como to the top of Brunate) will bring you to high pre-Alps scenaries from where you could stare to Milan, Switzerland and of course, the lake of Como.
In Tavernerio flows the river Cosia along which you could walk to the place where Alessandro Volta (Volts have been named after our scientist) grew and experimented.
Among the pre-Alpine lakes, Montorfano’s one is at walking distance from us.
Follow the walkpath on the little hill between us and the lake to find the ruins of the fortifications ordered by the Hole Roman Emperor Frederick I (1122 – 10 June 1190 also known as Frederick Barbarossa)…
